The “Y”
I’m Juline and I’m not even going to pretend that I have a passion for writing, but I do speak Emoji as you’ll discover when we work together. :) I look forward to spending 4 weeks in the design phase then another 4-8 weeks in your home remodeling your space! I’ll get to know you and your family well and I wanted to take this opportunity to let you into who I am and WHY I can’t wait to spend that time transforming your space for you!
I named this company in honor of my mom, Amira, who encouraged me to be creative…from art classes to taking me to the paint store as a kid to pick out that perfect shade of turquoise and black for my room. And in honor of my dad, AC, who spent countless hours driving me around our little island on a golf cart talking to me about any and everything my heart desired. I always knew I could come to him with any success or failure; he has always had a very interesting perspective on life and he has always pushed me to strive for more because he believed I could do ALL the things and more!!
The “Y”…the WHY is for my 3 boys, David, Ethan, and Asher whose middle names are all Chinese and start with the letter Y. The WHY is for my baby girl who will be here sooo soon, Livvy, whose middle name is Yzla (creative spellling of the Spanish word Island). The Chinese and Spanish are my heritage and these kiddos are my everything.
The why is You…because over the past 17+ years I’ve seen so many families unjustly overpay for design and remodel services, especially in kitchen and baths, while the contractors on their projects are cut down, underpaid, and unfairly treated which leads to underqualified crews on your project. Then we wonder why the construction world has such a bad reputation of guys not showing up and projects taking up to 5 times longer than they should.
I know there’s a better way where the family I’m serving is getting the best caliber of service for a fair price which is why our tradespeople are more than qualified and excited to be on your project every single day until that project is done and we give you back your beautifully transformed space!
